|WELCOME BACK TO HEAT SOCCER!
We are so excited to get back on the field and to see everyone again (even though it’s from 6 feet apart!). We are proud of the plan we have put together for our players and coaches – it is the best experience we can offer as we get back to a new “normal.”
Please take a moment to read through this email as there is a lot of good information here as well as read through the attached PDF with your player.
RETURN TO PLAY GUIDELINES
Please read the attached PDF carefully as it outlines our return-to-play protocols. We are committed to the safety of our players, our families and our coaches and we need everyone to demonstrate a commitment to these guidelines.
WHAT IS NEEDED BEFORE THE FIRST TRAINING SESSION
Before your first training session, you must fill out a COVID-19 waiver as well as a medical release form.
Your player will need to bring the following items in their soccer bag to the field each time they come to training:
- Shin guards
- Face mask
- Hand sanitizer (for personal use)
- Properly inflated ball
TRAINING SESSION SCHEDULE
The schedule for the first week of training can be found on pages 21-24 of the attached PDF. Your training coach and/or manager will be contacting you this weekend if you opted in for training.
As mentioned in an email earlier this week, the IGH Heat Soccer Board is calculating refunds for each team. All players with paid registrations will receive a refund. Refunds will vary per team and will be prorated based on the number of activities originally planned/scheduled for each team versus activities that will be delivered minus MYSA and Heat administrative fees. The refund amount will also vary based on decisions to opt in/opt out. The refund amounts will be communicated to you by June 8th.
2021 TEAM FORMATIONS
Team formations for the 2021 season will be held on Monday, July 20 for the U9 and U10 teams. Team formations for U11-U18 will be held the week of July 26. Please visit ighsoccer.org for information on specific dates and times.
Registration for fall 2020 soccer will be online in early August.
